Müller is opening its third branch on the Spanish mainland, in Calpe. 1,500 square metres, car park, opening-day discount and a range of everyday essentials.
The German retail chain Müller is continuing to expand its presence in Spain. In Calpe, the company is opening a new branch on Avenida Rumanía – featuring a wide range of products, free customer car parks and special offers to mark the opening.
With the opening of its new store in Calpe, the Marina Alta region gains another major shopping destination for everyday essentials. The German retail chain Müller has opened its new branch on Avenida Rumanía, thereby continuing its expansion on the Spanish mainland.
According to the company, this is the third Müller branch on the Spanish mainland. The chain has been operating in Spain for more than 30 years, having first opened in Mallorca. Today, the company operates 18 branches across the country.
The new branch in Calpe covers around 1,500 square metres of retail space. The shop is modern, bright and designed for ease of navigation. Customers will find drugstore products, perfumery, cosmetics, stationery, toys, organic food, sports nutrition, household goods, multimedia, books and pet supplies all under one roof.
One of the key features of the new branch is its wide range of products. Müller brings together various product categories that are otherwise often spread across several shops. For many customers in Calpe, the Marina Alta and along the Costa Blanca, this mix is likely to be of particular interest: everyday shopping, personal care products, household goods, pet supplies and gift ideas can all be found in one place.

To mark the launch, Müller is running a number of promotions to celebrate the reopening. According to the company, customers will receive a 20 per cent discount on the entire range during the first three days of the reopening.
In addition, there is a wheel of fortune in the shop with guaranteed prizes, as well as other surprises for visitors. These promotions are part of the opening of the new Müller shop in Calpe.
According to Müller, the design of the new branch has been focused on providing a comfortable shopping experience. Wide aisles, clear signage and accessible entrances are intended to make visiting the store easier. Free parking spaces are also available for customers.
The new Müller branch in Calpe is open seven days a week. Opening hours are from 9.00 am to 10.00 pm, Monday to Sunday.
Store manager Ms Sáez highlights the team’s dedication over the past few months: „Our aim was to create a welcoming and comfortable store with a wide range of products. The whole team has worked with great dedication to offer our customers an excellent shopping experience right from day one. We are delighted to now be part of Calpe.“
Müller was founded in Germany in 1953 and grew from a family-run chemist’s into one of Europe’s major retail chains. According to the company, it now operates more than 950 branches in nine countries and employs over 35,000 staff.
Müller has been operating in Spain for more than three decades. The chain has a particularly strong presence in Mallorca, where the company first began its expansion in Spain. With its new branch in Calpe, Müller is now strengthening its presence in the Autonomous Community of Valencia.
The opening in Calpe is part of a wider expansion plan in Spain. According to the company, Müller is planning to open three further branches in 2026. This also includes entering the market in the Autonomous Community of Madrid.
