*The Phantom of the Opera* is coming to Alicante; in Orihuela, Mozart’s music will be performed amidst thousands of candles; and Calp is welcoming *La Cubana*, one of Spain’s best-known theatre companies, to the stage. There will also be international orchestras, photography, dance, comedy and major sporting events. The events calendar for November 2026.
A phantom in Alicante, an orchestra by candlelight and a play in which the kitchen becomes the stage: November on the Costa Blanca is certainly anything but boring. The Teatro Principal in Alicante is staging a major musical on an international scale, whilst Calp, Altea, Dénia, Elche and Torrevieja are offering their own cultural programmes. There’s plenty going on off the theatre stage too – from contemporary dance and photography to a half-marathon through Benidorm.
The focus here is on concerts, theatre performances, exhibitions and sporting events. Anyone interested in traditional folk festivals and autumn fairs will find these listed in the separate CBM calendar, „Fiestas and Firas on the Costa Blanca in November 2026“.
