In emergencies, every second counts. Here are the most important emergency numbers for Marina Baixa and Marina Alta.

112: General emergency number – The European emergency number 112 connects you directly to the relevant emergency services such as the police, fire brigade and ambulance service. This service is available around the clock and is multilingual, including German and English.

091: National Police (Policía Nacional) – The National Police is responsible for urban areas. It deals with criminal offences and serious incidents. In Marina Baixa, the Policía Nacional has a branch in Benidorm.

062: Civil Guard – The Civil Guard is responsible for rural areas and interurban roads. It monitors public safety and traffic. In the Marina Alta, there are posts in Dénia and Calp; in the Marina Baixa, in Villajoyosa and Altea.

080: Fire brigade (Bomberos) – In the event of a fire or other safety-related emergency, you can reach the fire brigade by dialling 080. In Marina Alta, there are fire stations in Dénia and Benissa; in Marina Baixa, there are fire stations in Benidorm and Villajoyosa.
