A varied programme for anyone living or visiting the region who is interested in art, music, theatre and education. From local Zumba and dance classes to exhibitions in Altea, Denia and Benidorm to theatre performances, operas and concerts in Teulada/Moraira, Benissa or Villajoyosa - there is something to suit all ages and tastes.
The events are deliberately organised close to the communities and are aimed at residents, families and those interested in culture who want to actively shape their leisure time. Many events are free or inexpensive and also promote local networking, dialogue and creative interaction in the towns and villages of the Costa Blanca.
Those who take advantage of the offerings in cultural centres, auditoriums, theatres and public squares not only stay informed, but also become a direct part of the region's vibrant cultural life.

The exhibition „Libertad“ by María Torres Bernal will be held at the Casa de Cultura Altea until 27 March 2026.
Until 14 March 2026, the Casa Toni El Fuster-Fundació Schlotter was to host the exhibition „Ultramar. Diálogos entre la creación y el azul“ was planned until 14 March 2026 (currently postponed, new date to be announced).

On Wednesday, 4 March 2026, Rosalind Miranda will give a lecture on EDWARD HOPPER: Alienation and Subjugation at two locations in the Marina Alta. The morning session will be held at Espai La Senieta in Moraira and will start at 11:00am, with doors opening at 10:15am. The evening session will be held at the Casa de la Cultura in Jávea and will start at 19:30, doors open at 18:45. The lecture is organised by The Arts Society Marina Alta (TASMA). Members are admitted free of charge; guests are welcome for a prior donation of €15. Participants will have the opportunity to meet other guests over drinks afterwards.

On Thursday, 19 March 2026, the Día de San José will be celebrated in Alicante, a regional holiday in the Comunidad Valenciana. The day is also celebrated as Día del Padre.
The city enjoys this traditional day of rest with a festive atmosphere and a lively, commercial ambience, although it is not the main day of the Hogueras de San Juan.
The Fallas are a traditional festival in the Region of Valencia in which artistic and satirical monuments (fallas) are erected from wood, cardboard and other materials and ceremonially burnt at the end. They combine craftsmanship, music, pyrotechnics and community spirit and are recognised as an intangible cultural heritage of humanity. The fallas are not only a celebration of art and entertainment, but also an important expression of Valencian culture and tradition.

The Fallas in Valencia 2026 will officially take place from 1 to 19 March, with the main festivities from 15 to 19 March, culminating in the spectacular Cremà. The festivities begin on 22 February with the Crida at the Torres de Serranos, followed by the daily Mascletà at 14:00 from 1 to 19 March.
