Foressos Golf Club Valencia - Europe's largest triple green

Just a 15-minute drive south of Valencia and around an hour from Dénia is the Foressos Golf Club in Picassent - a course that has quietly but consistently developed into a permanent fixture in the region in recent years. The 18-hole, par-72 course is open to green fee players all year round, from Monday to Sunday, and offers challenges that are both strategic and scenic.

The course was designed by José Gancedo, a name that has made history in Spanish golf. Born in Málaga in 1938, Gancedo was considered an exceptional talent - he started playing at the age of twelve and later became a scratch golfer and was one of the best players of his time.

As a golf course architect, he has designed over 20 courses worldwide, including renowned courses such as Chaparral and Torrequebrada in Málaga, Costa Adeje in Tenerife and La Finca in Alicante. His designs are characterised by naturalness, strategic depth and a feel for the terrain - qualities that are also clearly evident in Foressos.
Hole 13, the so-called signature hole, is typical of his style: visually spectacular, challenging to play and perfectly embedded in the landscape.

A place with character
Since its opening in 2007, Foressos has developed into a golf course with a clear identity. Trees, ponds and natural obstacles have become integral parts of the game and give the course a varied structure.
