Beaches from Dénia to Villajoyosa - variety along 100 kilometres of coastline

The Costa Blanca is aptly named: the 200 kilometres of coastline between Dénia and Villajoyosa are lined with beaches that could hardly be more different - from wide sandy bays to rocky natural paradises and charming city beaches. Anyone who lives here or spends time here regularly knows: The true beauty of this coast is often revealed away from the postcard motifs.

Dénia - sandy beaches with character and far-reaching views

Dénia offers two coastal faces at once: in the north the Playa de Les Marines - kilometres of fine sandy beach with space for walks, jogging or a relaxing afternoon with a sea view. In the south, around Les Rotes, rocky bays, turquoise waters and a rather tranquil atmosphere - perfect for snorkelling or quiet afternoons away from the hustle and bustle.

Dog beaches on the Costa Blanca

Dénia is the first of the dog beaches on the Costa Blanca. The city council has made a beach available near the El Portet marina on the Escollera Norte breakwater.

The Les Urques dog beach is located in the popular holiday resort of Calpe on the Costa Blanca. It is rocky and somewhat secluded. The small bay is located by the Puerto Blanco marina.

In Altea, it is the bay of Olla that is open to dogs. The long bay is a pretty pebble beach close to several beach bars. Dogs and their owners can let off steam here on holiday on the Costa Blanca and enjoy a dip in the Mediterranean. Car parking is also available in the immediate vicinity of the beach.

The chocolate town of Villajoyosa with its idyllic bays also has a Costa Blanca dog beach. Here, four-legged friends can spend their holiday by the sea at Playa El Charco.
