Start your journey in Guadalest, the picturesque mountain village that towers high above the valley. The castle of Guadalest, already famous for its ghost stories (see article „Hauntings and ghosts“), offers a spectacular view of the green reservoir and the surrounding mountains. The story is told of a young woman who fell to her death while trying to escape her fate - and whose ghost is said to still haunt the castle.
