The menu at El Rey offers a wide selection of typical Mexican specialities. Crispy, homemade nachos, juicy quesadillas and classic tortillas will make the heart of any lover of Mexican cuisine beat faster.
But more unusual dishes such as ceviche or mussels also find their place here. We particularly recommend the Yucatán-style sea bream, which impresses with its flavourful marinade and perfect preparation.
Vegetarians also get their money's worth at El Rey. In addition to the classic, meat-free tortillas, the menu also includes creative dishes such as seitan with the typical Mexican salsa pico de gallo and apple. Variety is therefore guaranteed. Children are also well catered for here, as special children's dishes round off the menu.
The prices at El Rey are absolutely fair. Starters range from 8 to 15 euros and main courses from 15 to 22 euros. Considering the quality of the dishes and the ambience, the price-performance ratio is excellent.
Another highlight are the cocktails, which can be perfectly combined with the dishes. Our recommendation: Food para Compartir. All dishes are placed in the centre of the table and shared so that each guest can enjoy different dishes. This makes eating together a real experience.
