The D*na Festival has established itself as one of the most important culinary events in the Comunitat Valenciana in just a few years. On 28 and 29 September 2024, the festival will return to the Marineta Cassiana seafront promenade in Dénia on a grand scale. Organised by the city of Dénia and Turisme Comunitat Valenciana, it attracts foodies and gastronomy enthusiasts from all over the world.
What can visitors expect?
The D*na Festival combines top international cuisine with local products and has become particularly well known thanks to the involvement of Quique Dacosta, the three-star Michelin chef and gastronomic spokesperson for the festival. Visitors can look forward to numerous stalls from restaurateurs and producers presenting their culinary creations along the picturesque promenade. A highlight is the long table overlooking the sea, which invites you to savour the freshly prepared delicacies.
On the stage at the end of the promenade, renowned chefs will hold workshops and conferences in which they will provide insights into the latest gastronomic trends. The atmosphere remains relaxed and the event is a meeting place for all those who are passionate about high-quality cuisine.
An event for every taste
In addition to the gastronomic offerings, there are discussion panels and workshops that focus on innovative cooking techniques, regional products and current trends in gastronomy. The participating restaurateurs and producers change every year, which ensures that the festival always offers new culinary surprises.
According to official estimates, the D*na Festival attracts around 22,000 visitors every year, making it one of the largest events of its kind in the region.
Venue and schedule
The festival takes place along the Marineta Cassiana promenade, where visitors can sample and enjoy local specialities at the stalls. On the stage at the end of the promenade, renowned chefs present their art in various workshops and lectures.
