Wanderlust in Albir, on the Costa Blanca, invites you to go on a culinary journey around the world without leaving your table. Founded in April 2019, the restaurant combines the family's 30 years of gastronomic experience with international inspiration from travelling and experiences abroad.

History and concept

The idea for Wanderlust arose from the desire to combine the traditions of the family business with the culinary discoveries of travelling. After extensive renovations to an old, abandoned restaurant, Wanderlust opened its doors in November 2019. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, the restaurant quickly gained popularity thanks to its loyal customers.

Culinary highlights

Breakfast and brunch

The breakfast menu offers a variety of delicacies, including:

• Half a baguette with Serrano ham: A classic Spanish breakfast.
• Half a baguette with avocado, pomegranate seeds and sesame seeds: Optionally with poached egg or salmon.
• Huevos Benedict Wanderlust: With avocado, Serrano ham, poached egg and homemade hollandaise sauce.

There are various menus to choose from for brunch, which is served Tuesdays to Fridays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and until 1 p.m. on weekends and public holidays:

• Brunch Dulce: Croissant, apple porridge, homemade jam, pancakes, yoghurt with granola and fresh orange juice.
• Brunch Salado: Various types of bread, salmon, Serrano ham, Manchego cheese, hummus, scrambled eggs and fresh orange juice.
• Brunch Wanderlust: Croissant, pancakes, salmon, Serrano ham, poached egg, yoghurt with granola, fresh orange juice and a glass of cava.

Main courses and tapas

The menu offers a wide selection of dishes inspired by different cuisines from around the world:

• Sandwiches: With Brie, sun-dried tomatoes and homemade pesto or with smoked salmon and Philadelphia.
• Salads: Asian salad with chicken sate or the classic Cesar salad Wanderlust.
• Tapas: Crispy potato wedges with spicy bravas sauce, Spanish croquettes with Serrano ham, homemade falafel and crispy avocado wedges with honey-soy sauce.
• Burgers and ribs: From the classic American smash burger to ribs with Asian coleslaw and homemade fries.
• Bowls: Poke Bowl with fresh tuna or Buddha Bowl with quinoa, sweet potato and hummus.
