Las obras, cuyo coste previsto es de 17,5 millones de euros, agilizar\u00e1n el tr\u00e1fico de aeronaves desde los aparcamientos hasta la pista y aumentar\u00e1n la eficiencia del aeropuerto. Las obras durar\u00e1n 27 meses para no interrumpir las operaciones en curso.<\/p>\n<!-- ai-h1words -->\n<p>Est\u00e1 previsto que las obras de ampliaci\u00f3n de Aena Alicante finalicen en 27 meses para permitir canalizar de forma m\u00e1s eficiente el tr\u00e1fico a\u00e9reo de Elche desde los aparcamientos hasta la pista y mejorar la seguridad con nueva iluminaci\u00f3n y barreras FOD, con un coste de 17,5 millones de euros para Alicante-Elche.<\/p>\n<!-- \/ai-h1words -->\n\n<p>El proyecto incluye la pavimentaci\u00f3n de la zona ampliada, la adaptaci\u00f3n del sistema de drenaje y la instalaci\u00f3n de nuevos m\u00e1stiles de iluminaci\u00f3n y balizas. Adem\u00e1s, se ampliar\u00e1n el vallado y la carretera perimetral del aeropuerto y se adaptar\u00e1 la barrera FOD de la zona ampliada.<\/p><p>Estas medidas, junto con la pr\u00f3xima licitaci\u00f3n para ampliar la terminal, deber\u00edan aumentar significativamente la capacidad del aeropuerto. El Ministro \u00d3scar Puente anunci\u00f3 que el proyecto aumentar\u00e1 la capacidad a 26 millones de pasajeros, lo que requerir\u00e1 una inversi\u00f3n de 600 millones de euros. La construcci\u00f3n de la calle de rodaje forma parte del plan de inversiones para el periodo 2027-2031, cuya licitaci\u00f3n est\u00e1 prevista para este a\u00f1o.<\/p><p>Mientras que el gobierno espa\u00f1ol apoya la ampliaci\u00f3n de la terminal existente, el gobierno regional reclama una segunda pista.
