During the day, the Costa Blanca is a paradise for sun worshippers. But if you start travelling after sunset, you will discover a different side: squares full of life, street music between market stalls, a glass of Tinto de Verano under fairy lights. Summer here is not just a question of temperature - it's also a question of time.<\/p>

In many places, the real evening only begins when the shutters have long since gone down elsewhere. That's when people stroll around, party and eat. And people often just stay until the clock shows midnight - or later.<\/p>

Night markets: <\/strong>Strolling under the stars<\/strong>
There is hardly a summer evening without one of the night markets that take place somewhere between D\u00e9nia and Villajoyosa almost every day of the week. From crafts to fashion to art, everything is there - and of course stalls with cool drinks and snacks.<\/p>

Particularly popular:<\/strong>
Altea: Night market along the church and through the old town - perfect for a stroll.
\u25b6 D\u00e9nia: Summer market at the harbour - jewellery, ceramics, accessories.
\u25b6 X\u00e0bia: Small markets right on the promenade - often with live music.
\u25b6 Villajoyosa: Night market on the beach from Friday to Sunday - arts and crafts, street food and a relaxed atmosphere late into the night.<\/p>

Tip: If you arrive early, you can usually get the best parking space and enjoy the sunset at the same time.<\/p>

For night owls: music, clubs and long nights<\/strong>
Those who still have energy after midnight will also find what they are looking for along the coast. In D\u00e9nia and J\u00e1vea in particular, there are numerous bars, beach clubs and pubs where you can enjoy live music or cocktails with a sea view.
\u25b6 D\u00e9nia: In the harbour district, one bar follows the next - from lounges with DJ sets to small venues with guitar concerts.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

J\u00e1vea: The Arenal promenade is a meeting point for night owls, especially in July and August. Evenings here often don't start until around 11 pm.
\u25b6 Benidorm: If that's not enough, Benidorm offers nightlife that lasts until the early hours - from large clubs to karaoke bars.

Open-air cinema <\/strong>and concerts<\/strong>
Many municipalities on the Costa Blanca invite you to open-air cinema screenings in July and August - often free of charge. Simply bring a folding chair or blanket and enjoy the film in the open air.
Equally popular: the small summer concerts in squares or parks. Sometimes jazz, sometimes flamenco, sometimes rock. The programme is a colourful mix - and usually free of charge.<\/p>

Fiestas without time<\/strong>
Whether it's a patron saint's festival or a small village celebration - in July and August there are celebrations almost everywhere. The streets are filled with tables, lanterns and music. And nobody asks whether tomorrow is Monday.<\/p>

Small tips for long evenings<\/strong>
\u25b6 Parking: The coastal towns get full in the evening - the earlier the better.
\u25b6 Snacks: Many stalls only take cash - take a few coins with you.<\/p>

Summer nights on the Costa Blanca are more than just a few hours without sunshine - they are a way of life. Between markets, music and cool drinks, everyone finds their favourite moment here.
