The Blue Flag is not a decoration. It is a seal of approval for beaches where more is right than just the view. If you want to hold it, you have to fulfil standards: Water quality, safety, environmental management, accessibility. In 2025, numerous sections of the Marina Alta and Marina Baixa were once again honoured - including well-known names, but also some that are new or back on the list.<\/p>

Consistent standards in D\u00e9nia, Calpe and Benissa<\/strong>
As in previous years, D\u00e9nia remains reliable: Les Bovetes, Les Marines, Deveses, Raset, Marineta Cassiana and Els Molins have been reconfirmed. A new addition is Punta Negra - a small section that shows that quality work is not only carried out on the main beaches.
Benissa also remains stable: Cala Fustera and the smaller Cala del Baladrar continue to fulfil all the criteria.
Calpe is one of the most reliable places in the region: with Playa de la Fossa, Arenal-Bol and Cantal Roig, three beaches are certified to a high standard.<\/p>

New arrivals in Altea, returnees in Benidorm<\/strong>
With Cap Blanc, La Roda and, for the first time, Playa El Bol, Altea has three excellent beaches in the running. A good signal for a municipality that has long been under the radar.<\/p>

Benidorm, together with Levante and Poniente, once again secures the title. The small Cala del Mal Pas, on the other hand, falls off the list - as it did last year.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

L'Alf\u00e0s del Pi celebrates a comeback: The Rac\u00f3 de l'Albir, most recently without a flag, is officially certified again in 2025.<\/p>

Also in the south: solid work<\/strong>
Villajoyosa remains reliable: Playa Centro, La Caleta, Parad\u00eds, El Torres, Bol Nou and Xarco once again achieve the award - a rate that is impressive compared to the rest of the country.<\/p>

In Benitachell, Cala del Moraig is still on the list. In J\u00e1vea, La Grava and Granadella remain listed, while the centrally located Arenal does not fulfil the requirements this year.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
