On 20 June, the German drugstore giant celebrates the opening with attractive welcome offers and gift vouchers for the first customers.\nWith the opening of the shop in the Plaza Central shopping centre in Calpe, Alicante becomes the first Spanish province to reach ten Rossmann shops - four of them in the Marina Alta.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The German drugstore giant Rossmann, one of the market leaders in the sector with almost 66,000 employees, around 5,000 shops in nine European countries and a record profit of over 15 billion euros in 2024, is expanding its market position on the Costa Blanca with its market entry in Calpe. The Plaza Central shopping centre was chosen by the company as the location for the shop. With a 450 m\u00b2 shop on the ground floor of the shopping centre, the brand will celebrate its opening on 20 June with attractive welcome offers and special promotions.

Rossmann is expanding its presence in Calpe and is offering its wide range of products there, characterised by a large selection and very competitive prices. In addition, the first visitors to the shop will receive a gift voucher worth up to 100 euros. During the first week, there will be significant discounts to celebrate the opening: 10% on the entire range and an additional 20% on make-up, as well as special offers on a variety of items.

Rossmann's branching out on the Costa Blanca continues unstoppably since its first shop in Moraira in 2021. With the upcoming opening in Calpe, the province of Alicante will be the first Spanish province in which Rossmann reaches the double-digit number of stores - a milestone that underlines the company's strong commitment to the Alicante coast.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

At national level, the drugstore chain will have more than fifty locations along the entire Mediterranean coast by the end of the financial year - in addition to the ten shops in the region.
The company has been represented on the Iberian Peninsula for almost five years and is growing from year to year. In 2024, the company achieved its highest turnover to date: 38 million euros. In terms of employees, the group, which was ranked among the best employers in the world in 2023 by Forbes magazine, now employs more than 500 people across the country. Rossmann is present in the Comunitat Valenciana, Catalonia, the Balerares, Murcia and Andalusia.<\/p>\n

Rossmann, with over 50 years of experience, arrived in Spain in 2020 to reinvent the drugstore model and fulfil all household needs. Drugstore, perfumery, cosmetics, personal care and baby products are some of the categories offered, as well as organic products, sports nutrition, parapharmacy and food, among others.
