On the Costa Blanca, as in Germany, the disability card plays an important role in the lives of people with disabilities. This official document not only serves to determine the legal status and degree of disability, but is also the key to numerous support programmes and discounts. The aim is to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life of those affected. The degree of disability, which is determined on a state scale, takes into account not only physical or mental impairments, but also social aspects such as the family environment, professional situation, educational opportunities and cultural participation.<\/p>\n\n

The disability card on the Costa Blanca opens up access to benefits and support in everyday life, services and thus facilitates participation and quality of life for people with disabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n

In Spain, people with a degree of disability of 33% or more are entitled to the card. Among other things, this enables discounts on public transport and cultural events as well as tax benefits and better opportunities on the labour market.
