Supermarket opening hours Costa Blanca: Maundy Thursday and Holy Saturday<\/h2>

Maundy Thursday (2 April 2026) is the most important shopping day before the public holidays. Large chains such as Carrefour, Mercadona, Lidl, Aldi, Consum and Masymas open largely as normal, sometimes with shortened opening hours in the afternoon.
Holy Saturday (4 April) will also be normal: most supermarkets along the Costa Blanca will be open as usual.<\/p>

Good Friday and Easter Monday: which supermarkets are closed<\/h2>

On the two public holidays - Good Friday (3 April) and Easter Monday (6 April) - the offer is significantly reduced.

Although Easter Sunday (5 April) is not a public holiday, it is often treated similarly in retail.
Many large supermarkets remain closed, while smaller markets and individual locations are open - usually with limited hours.
