Save:<\/p><ul><li>written cost estimates (<em>presupuesto<\/em>)<\/li><li>Invoices (<em>factura con IVA<\/em>)<\/li><li>Proof of payment<\/li><li>Email and chat histories<\/li><li>Photos of the performance status or defects<\/li><\/ul><p>Significant price deviations are not permitted without a written basis. A detailed breakdown may be requested. If fraud is suspected, the Guardia Civil - in particular the cybercrime department - will accept reports.<\/p><p><strong>Display as the last step<br \/><\/strong>If an out-of-court settlement fails, a denuncia with the Polic\u00eda Local or Guardia Civil can be useful - especially to legally secure larger claims.<\/p><p><strong>Prevention in everyday life<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Do not pay in full in advance.<\/li><li>Check references, address and tax number.<\/li><li>Only pay via secure websites (https).<\/li><li>Agree instalment payments.<\/li><li>Complain about defects in writing at an early stage.<\/li><\/ul><p>Conclusion for the Costa Blanca: If you document properly, set deadlines and know the Hoja de Reclamaciones, you are on legally stable ground between D\u00e9nia and La Zenia -
